“I slept under rhododendron
All night blossoms fell
Shivering on a sheet of cardboard
Feet stuck in my pack
Hands deep in my pockets
Barely able to sleep.
I remembered when we were in school
Sleeping together in a big warm bed
We were the youngest lovers
When we broke up we were still nineteen.
Now our friends are married
You teach school back east
I dont mind living this way
Green hills the long blue beach
But sometimes sleeping in the open
I think back when I had you.”

Lyrics are being finished! SLOWLY, but surely. This time around I am just doing edits in pen so as to add a finality to it. I make a lot of edits;)
We are currently working extra hard on a new record which we’ll be recording in September. There is no working title, however, some song titles include:
“Wolves Eating Children”, “Lovers With Dirty Hands”, and “Alone Time”
I really can’t wait for everyone to hear it all. It’s a bit of a departure I’d say. How is everyone out there in Cyberland? I know people are going to read this, but I always feel like it’s a one-way conversation/public diary so I never open up enough. Here goes— In 7th grade I got suspended 7 times. Among the offenses:
selling fake acid made of baseball cards dipped in honey, pulling down my pants, fighting, drawing penises in pen in library books, etc…
That feels good, maybe I’ll treat this like a confessional from now on
Josh

Josh has been working on some music with Daniel Zott the past month or two. The project will be called “Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr” and an EP will be made public one way or the other. There won’t be too many shows, but the music will be available soon. Check out:

Here is our new photo for the world to use and look at. Enjoying this tour mightily!
