“Hunting Season overlaps with Spider Season”
I have just posted a blog on myspace, however, I am confused…Are there actual people on Myspace? Every day we get spam from bands and comments from scantily clad women. I fear that Myspace is a veritable ghost town of friend adding bots and porno site outreach branches. So here is the blog again for real people:
We are finishing a new record which we are calling “Spider Season” recorded in the heart of said season in Los Angeles with talented people like Sam Farrar, Noah Passovoy and Christof “The Anvil” Zajac-Denek.
Friends, this coming year—2010—is looking like it will be a busy one for your friends, The Silent Years. We will be traveling across the world playing you the music that comprises our latest creation. Things will be a little different, with new instruments and possibly some new players at times. Do not fear this change. Fear makes people act out of fear, and acting out of fear makes one inauthentic.
I (Josh) am very excited to be able to present this new work to you (anyone) and hope that it is something, and not less.
Thanks for the continued support
Josh
It’s been too long since a blog post so I figured I’d send out an update. We finished recording a new record called “Spider Season” with the help of Noah Passovoy and Sam Farrar in Los Angeles. It’s being mixed and mastered currently, and will be coming out in March of 2010. In the meantime we will be doing some shows and some tours and working on a few other projects as well!
The new record will be our biggest release to date complete with 12” records, videos, tours and more! I honestly can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
There will be more shortly
Josh
